Mad Hatter's

Tea Party

It may not surprise you when I say this, but this piece was inspired by Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. When I saw Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter that got me thinking and shortly afterwards I came up with my own version of the Mad Hatter. I entered this piece in to be showcased on a bus stop in Tulsa and for a short while it was on full display on a certain bus stop for all to see.

Growth

I was in a certain phase where I was just obsessed with macabre art styles. This one in particular was inspired by the movie 9. With it I added a nightmarish element to it and one thing led to another and this was the result.

Twisted Lane

I was bored on day when suddenly I had the urge to make a scenic and twisted background. So I got out my sketch book and made the image which would eventually evolve into the image you see below. I was still in my macabre phase when I was making this, so you might see a little bit of a Tim Burton style. Nonetheless, I am very proud how this one turned out.

Bed Monsters

This is probably one of last pieces that I made while I was in my macabre phase. I remember being heavily influenced by Eminem's song Monster. And from there, one thing led to another and this image below was created.

Icarus

Back while I was in high school I learned about this amazing artist named Frank Frazetta. I was really fascinated by his cosmic and other worldly images. Then I heard about an art contest for an aviation company, so I jump onto photoshop and tried to create my own cosmic creation. While it's definitely not on Frazetta's level, I was quite pleased with it. One of my art teachers told me that they were not really interest in the piece (apparently they wanted air planes, not wings) and recommended I showcase this piece in the Blue Dome District in Tulsa during an art event called Mayfest. So, I framed it, and then submitted it to the showcase. and from what I heard, it drew quite a crowd.

Attractive Creature

During my junior year of college, I was in a life drawing class and we had a nude model. Needless to say I became fascinated with the subject and with that I made my first nude piece.
